Born to Draw: Children's Art Drawing Program

This ibook was the product of 20 years of teaching children to draw and paint. I gathered information and techniques in the classroom, which I share to enable teachers and/or parents to teach drawing. In Section One you’ll find insightful tips on teaching art, including lessons plans and instruction videos. Section Two has over 20 step-by-step drawing projects for students to follow. Based on the National Art Association Standards for visual arts, Born To Draw is a great resource for classroom or homeschool use.

Born To Draw: Drawing for Holidays and Special Occasions

This book reinforces the concepts introduced in the first Born To Draw book and continues the step-by-step approach. This book can build on the first in the series, or can be used as a standalone instruction guide, with emphasis on holiday related projects. This edition includes much of the concepts presented in Born to Draw, but also includes the “Georgia O’Keeffe Project.” Born to Draw provides teachers and parents alternative craft projects, with drawing as the foundation. Both adults and children enjoy creating special projects for holiday fun.
